Is that okay? Gosh, I hope so because I'd love to win "Hunky Dory".
ReplyDeleteI've been 'following' your blog in Google reader for a while, but now I am an OFFICIAL follower! Something fun this summer - finally taking my son to a spray park that we pass each day on the way home from day care.

ReplyDeleteMy funny story - yesterday while I was carrying my 5 month old, I popped some M&Ms in my mouth, he then put both his little hands and squeezed my cheeks as if he's trying to get them out of my mouth. I've never had a jelly roll B/4 (only the kind you can eat)! I live in Dubai and it's really hot and humid so I try to stay inside where it's cool. I've completed 3 baby quilts, 1 quilt top (which will be a wedding gift for my niece) and currently finishing up a paper pieced wall hanging which will be a Secret Santa gift for a lady in my weekly sewing group. I LOVE stumbling across cool blogs! I would be happy to add this jelly roll to my stash! suecshamekh(at)gmail.com

ReplyDeleteI am such a girlie girl and I love this fabric!!!
ReplyDeleteTook a road trip up the Oregon coast from Northern Cali. 3 Adults, 1 teenager and 3 kids under 5 in my minivan. Doesn't sound like fun? It was! We just "accidentally" *cough, cough* happened to stop at every quilt store we could find. Anything is fun if you add a trip to new fabric stores!
ReplyDeleteFav fabric line this year is Hunky Dory for sure. Wish I bought more! I'm absolutely in love with Sandi Henderson's Ginger Blossom line though. I snatch up any I can find still lingering in stores. I just wish I discovered it sooner.
Something fun I did this summer was meet a new family that moved into our community over at the dog park. Their three dogs played with our two and we talked and got to know them and their children. It was fun to know how people that are not originally from this state pronounce the names of some cities and towns that are influenced by the French or the Spanish. They always say them wrong and then we try and guess what part of the country they grew up in. My husband is usually always right in his guesses, me I'm wrong.
