Farmer's Wife Friday Fun!

Welcome Farmer's Wife-ers! If you are currently working on this little gem of a quilt, I hope it's going well for you. If you're thinking about starting this quilt, now's the time, get started! You won't be sorry (most days;).  This week I was able to get three blocks done. I was glad to catch up, I usually like doing two together and I only made one on one of the weeks and it was just throwing me off!
This week's block include the Shooting Star block which honestly did not really inspire me. I do like the colors though and the way it turned out. I still can't say it's a favorite, but I think it will work!
Silver Lane was an interesting block. Kind of a tricky design to pull fabrics for. I decided I was in the mood for pink and I'd make it an all pink block! I only had a tiny bit of the white with roses print but I really wanted to use it. On the bottom right block I had to improvise and piece it together with some white, but I figure once I get it quilted, nobody will notice (except me;).
The Single Wedding Star is a nice, simple block, aahhhh. Sometimes it so great to have those. This week I lightened up all of my blocks and used more white, low volume prints. I'm always glad when I do.

I would love to see what you are working on this week, here's your chance!

  1. Hi Ellie!

Things have been crazy around my house...school ends in 2 weeks & I am trying to organize things before I leave for Quilt Market. I finally sat down and made a few blocks....kind of rusty at making the blocks!

I love the low volume backgrounds that you made...the pink one looks good and I am sure that it will blend in nicely with the other blocks!

Thanks for hosting the quilt along!

  2. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
