Blogiversary GIVEAWAY!!

 *This Giveaway is now CLOSED*
It's my one year blogiversary, I can't believe it! I have had a family blog for years, but I had been wanting a way to connect with the sewing/crafting community and to keep an archive of things I've created. Craft Sew Create was born! I love being a part of this creative blogging world and to celebrate I'm having a giveaway!

You guessed it, a HUNKY DORY Jelly Roll!! This was one of my favorite fabric lines this year. The yummy colors and beautiful florals, are you drooling yet?

Three ways to win:
1. Leave me a comment! Tell me something funny or fun you did this summer. Favorite fabric line? Anything!
2. Follow my blog! (or let me know if you already follow) I love to meet new friends and I've got some great tutorials coming you don't want to miss!
3. Post this giveaway on your blog, Twitter, or Facebook. Let others know what they can win! (Leave me a comment with your blog link, etc.)

I will pick a winner at 9 p.m (Mountain Time) August 15th, so be sure and check back to see if you've won, good luck!! (International friends are welcome to enter:)

Oh my, you are right that is fabulous fabric, so colourful and fresh. My summer has been awesome because we have had beautiful weather and it has taken me outdoors for fresh air and exercise.

Mimi said...

I just signed up to follow your blog, but it took me awhile to figure it out... it's right up on top and not somewhere on the side like others. Good thing that I am clever otherwise I would not have a second chance to win this incredible giveaway! Thanks!

Mimi said...

Since I do not have a blog and would not know where to begin or what to do with it, I was kinda hoping that I could email my quilting friends with your link to your fabulous giveaway... and if they want they will check it out. Is that okay? Gosh, I hope so because I'd love to win "Hunky Dory".

I've been 'following' your blog in Google reader for a while, but now I am an OFFICIAL follower! Something fun this summer - finally taking my son to a spray park that we pass each day on the way home from day care.
Great giveaway! Even better if I won, since you are drawing on my birthday! :)

Happy blogiversary. Not quite summer here in Australia yet, although it looks like it's heading that way. I can't wait for the warmer weather to arrive. Looking forward to our xmas get together at the beach.

My funny story - yesterday while I was carrying my 5 month old, I popped some M&Ms in my mouth, he then put both his little hands and squeezed my cheeks as if he's trying to get them out of my mouth. I'm sure it wasn't intentional but I did think it was funny at the time and had a little chuckle.

Congratulations on your first year! Isn't it great when something you love doing works out so well?
I have spent some time recovering from a broken left arm, (slipped while dancing with my beautiful brother(!)) so am jumping out of my skin with eagerness to get sewing again. And, yes, I am a definite left hander. The cast comes off on 9.09.2010, so you just wait for the needles and pins to start flying after that! Those pretty, pretty pieces would make a sweet experience even better. Thanks and best wishes for the next year.

This summer I organized an art festival that was outdoors in a public garden. After 7 weeks of blazing sun, during the weekend of the festival it poured, then after the weekend was over the same made it's appearance. The rain couldn't dampen our spirits. Instead, we danced in the rain.

These look great. I can think of all kinds of projects to do with them.

I've never had a jelly roll B/4 (only the kind you can eat)! I live in Dubai and it's really hot and humid so I try to stay inside where it's cool. I've completed 3 baby quilts, 1 quilt top (which will be a wedding gift for my niece) and currently finishing up a paper pieced wall hanging which will be a Secret Santa gift for a lady in my weekly sewing group. Took a road trip up the Oregon coast from Northern Cali. 3 Adults, 1 teenager and 3 kids under 5 in my minivan. Doesn't sound like fun? It was! We just "accidentally" *cough, cough* happened to stop at every quilt store we could find. Anything is fun if you add a trip to new fabric stores!

Fav fabric line this year is Hunky Dory for sure. Wish I bought more! I'm absolutely in love with Sandi Henderson's Ginger Blossom line though. I snatch up any I can find still lingering in stores. I just wish I discovered it sooner.

Something fun I did this summer was meet a new family that moved into our community over at the dog park. Their three dogs played with our two and we talked and got to know them and their children. It was fun to know how people that are not originally from this state pronounce the names of some cities and towns that are influenced by the French or the Spanish. They always say them wrong and then we try and guess what part of the country they grew up in. My husband is usually always right in his guesses, me I'm wrong.
